AUDI A5 & S5 & CABRIOLET
Today I have brought you something to excite for. This is a car which sits between Audi A4 and Audi A6. This is more sexy looking and more appealing, Than both of them. The previous generation A5 wasn't a hit in India. Now let's find out will this one be ?!
Talking about it's design, it has nice sharps and cuts which will catch immediate attention on Indian roads. The stylish LED taillights and sharp angular headlights add more drama to the car. Now that this is a sportback, which is a combination of a sedan and a coupe has it's own character lines. Advantages of a sportback is having more bootspace. Having a generous 480 litre bootspace is amazing.
The CABRIOLET has a soft top option which is great if you are looking for a sexy looking car as well as a convertible.
There are some minor changes in the S5 variant. Meaning,the break calipers, the alloys and the S5 badging.
Moving on to the inside, you get a single- tone all black interior which is quite basic for this car. The S5 variant has some contrast to add the brightness of the car. You get rimless Windows which adds to that sporty appeal. The sunroof adds roominess to the cabin.
On the performance front, the A5 is powered by a 2 litre, four cylinder engine which churns out 190 bhp of power and 400 NM of torque and is mated to a 7 speed DSG transmission. The S5 has a 3 litre V6 engine which churns out a whopping 354 bhp poser and 500 NM of torque. The engine of the S5 will surely bring a smile on your face. Also the fellow riders will start chasing your car thinking it is an imported one. Jokes apart. This is a driver's car and not for it's rear seat. It also has paddle shifters and tiptronic transmission to keep you engaged.
The rear seats of the CABRIOLET is best for infants. Also the headroom for all the variants is best till 5'10 and the legroom is just about adequate.
It's a good all rounder with supreme luxury, refined engines and sleek looks. Don't forget it offers good fuel economy figures with it's 2 litre engine. The price starts at 54.67 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
